iSafer is a good program that works like a firewall allowing you to take control over the internet traffic and protects your computer against unauthorized access. It is recommended to block Spyware, Adware and programs that you don’t want to be executed. iSafer has a Firewall log that is always checking what IP, hostname, port and application path are accessed in real time. You can allow or deny access for any range of IP addresses, just a single IP or any application just by introducing the application path – those options are configured in the “F/W Rule Set” with the “Firewall Rule Editor”. The program includes a “Security Level” option with a sliding bar with three security levels: High, Medium and Low Besides checking IP addresses the program allows you to check the “Network Port Information” showing the services, ports and status. Other useful option you can utilize is the “Shared Folders” option that looks for folders that can be accessed by other computers on your network and you have the option to unshare them.
